This is the perfect time to find that one of a kind gift for your family and friends while also earning a chance to shop on Small Business Saturday on November 29th and......


To enter go to our website at There will be a code word you must email to officially enter. Emails will be accepted until noon, Wednesday, November 26th. The winner will then be announced and must pick up their $100 prize before closing at 4:30. The Chamber office will be closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving Holiday.

Blessed with a rich and varied history, Crawfordsville and Montgomery County, located on the banks of Sugar Creek, offer visitors and residents alike a true feel of midwestern life.

Crawfordsville, the county seat has consistently appeared in rankings of the 100 Best Small Towns in America. Known as “the Athens of Indiana” since the early 1900’s for its culture, progressiveness, and abundance of nationally known writers, Crawfordsville today still embodies many of these same qualities. Two of our most treasured cultural amenities are the Lew Wallace Study, where the famed Civil War General wrote the novel Ben-Hur; and Wabash College, an all-male private liberal arts college founded in 1832.

In addition to our cultural heritage, Montgomery County is well positioned geographically, between the metropolitan areas of Lafayette and Indianapolis, to continue enjoying economic prosperity.


Our local economy is quite diverse, ranging from agriculture to large-scale industrial manufacturers. The retail scene offers something for everyone with nationally recognized merchants, as well as one-of-a-kind niche retailers. The annual Chamber of Commerce Community Christmas Parade is right around the corner! The theme for this year is "Christmas Around the World".   We are now accepting entries, just simply click here and fill out the form.  If you are under the age of 18 and wish to send in an entry, simply click here, downlad the form, fill it out and send it in!  All extra information regarding the parade is here*!  Call us with any quesitons or concerns!

Want Your Photo Made Into A Puzzle?

The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce is hosting a photo contest that is open to the public! The contests is for the picture that best exemplifies the essence of Montgomery County in a landmark or in nature.  Send in your picture to the Chamber at 309 N. Green Street, Crawfordsville, IN, 47933 or email them to us at .  Be sure to include your name, the date the picture was taken, and a brief description. Pictures must be received by Friday, March 27. Athens Arts will be judging the pictures.
